TN SB0638 - AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 49, Chapter 6, relative to education savings accounts.

Description

PFPS Summary: TN SB638 expands eligibility for the state's ESA voucher "pilot" program to include students who did not attend a Tennessee public school for one full school year immediately preceding the year for which the student first receives an voucher, but who attended a Tennessee public school in the 2019-2020, 2020-2021, or 2021-2022 school year, and to include students who are not eligible for the first time to enroll in a Tennessee public school in the year they first receive a voucher, but who were eligible to enroll in a Tennessee public school for the first time in the 2019-2020, 2020-2021, or 2021-2022 school year.
