Title

Provides for individual income tax credits for donations made to school tuition organizations

Description

PFPS Summary: LA HB443 allows taxpayers to claim a credit for the entire amount of their contribution to a voucher-granting organization rather than the actual amount of the donation that is used to fund a voucher. It also eliminates the requirement that voucher students take the same assessment test as public school students. The bill also changes other provisions related to the distribution of vouchers and administration of voucher-granting organizations.
