PFPS Webinar Series Continues with “A Fight Worth Having: The Battle to Defeat Vouchers and Save Public Education”

Join Public Funds Public Schools on Thursday, March 12, at 4 p.m. ET for a timely webinar on fighting vouchers through litigation, advocacy campaigns, and data-informed policies. With legislative sessions underway and renewed efforts to establish or expand voucher programs in states, this webinar will spotlight the strategies advocates are using to successfully push back.

During the webinar, speakers from Montana, Nebraska, and Arizona will share updates from their state’s voucher fights, highlighting key challenges, legal wins, recent advocacy efforts, and the role of data in their campaigns. The panel will also discuss how audits and investigations in states like Tennessee and Florida shed light on the negative consequences of vouchers in those states.

The webinar will be moderated by Education Law Center Staff Attorney Patrick Cremin and will feature Rylee Sommers-Flanagan, Founder & Executive Director, Upper Seven Law (MT); Daniel Russell, Deputy Director, Stand for Schools (NE); and Beth Lewis, Co-Executive Director, Save Our Schools Arizona.
