LA HB9 - Creates and provides for a program to provide state funding for the education of students with exceptionalities not enrolled in public school
Description
PFPS Summary: LA HB9 establishes an education savings account voucher program for students with disabilities, beginning no later than the 2024-2025 school year. The amount of a voucher is equal to the base per-pupil allocation in the state's school funding formula, plus the special education weight (additional per-pupil funding provided for students with disabilities) times the base per-pupil amount.
