Description

PFPS Summary: S2524 increases the number of vouchers available through Florida's Empowerment Scholarship Program from 20,000 to 26,500 in 2022-23. The number of vouchers will increase by 1% of student membership each year beginning in 2023-24. It also expands eligibility for the New World Reading Scholarship Account voucher program to include students in kindergarten to second grade who are identified as reading deficient or score below a Level 3 on Florida's standardized ELA assessment.
