Creates new provisions prohibiting the use of public funds to influence elections

Description

PFPS Summary: MO SB86 caps the state’s tax credit voucher program at twenty-five million dollars in its first year and increases the cap to fifty million dollars in subsequent years. It also limits the number of voucher-granting organizations in the state to ten. SB86 also establishes a board to oversee Missouri’s ESA voucher program and allows 4% of all contributions to the program to be used for administrative purposes.
